Track Listing:
Midnight chimes ring out again
Beckoning the twisted nightmares to descend
Upon me and deep into my mind
To prey upon stray rays of hope left dying inside...
My gothic heart cries to be set free
From darkness (my mistress), and her reverie
I yearn to feel pure rays upon my skin
To forget the brooding shadow brewing sin...
Somewhere I know you hold the key
The sacred prose, the words to set me free
Wolves cry unto the moon outside
Calling their brethren to take my life
Will you help bring about my demise
As they tear my flesh and feast on me tonight?
My gothic heart cries to be released
Before darkness reaches out her hand to me
Will she take me deep into the night
To forget the love, the torch that burnt so bright?

MGHMMVI Trivia:
"MGHMMVI" is one of few Vampyrouss tracks initially written in isolation by Azrael.
The original recording was not meant to be a Vampyrouss song at all appearing on the lost 2nd Siberia demo "Siberia's Drunken Mishaps" under the title "3AM In A Technological Hell" in 2005.
The Siberia track itself was a very different meandering and mostly instrumental track featuring sparse vocal samples performed by Azrael.
Vampyrouss were asked to write a song for a growing alternative social media website "My Gothic Heart" and didn't have time to write a brand new piece of music for it so Kaz plummeted Azrael's music archives for inspiration finding the midi for that Siberia song and began cropping select melodies from it rearranging them into a suitable song structure and writing brand new (obviously unrelated) lyrics for this new piece. Azrael then added in the violin section in the middle and other extra synth layers to create the brand new Vampyrouss song.
"MGHMMVI" is often mistakenly referred to as "My Gothic Heart" because of the connection to that website but the song title officially is "MGHMMVI" (standing for My Gothic Heart 2006, when the song was first released).
The track would feature on the compilation release "Chapter One" with other singles from the time.
A remastered version of the song would appear on the 2013 EP "Evidence Of Evolution".
