About MGHMMVI:
MGHMMVI is a song by Vampyrouss first recorded as a standalone single in 2006 before appearing on the compilation demo "Chapter One" in October the same year.
The song instantly became a trademark for the band and was later remastered for the 2013 EP "Evidence Of Evolution".
The song also appeared on the 2020 "Observations In Isolation" (somewhat live) EP performed solely by Vampyrouss vocalist Kazraine Maars and similarly appeared along with the whole Vampyrouss back catalogue on the "Barely (A)Live Rehearsal" release in 2021.
MGHMMVI was written as a request from a burgeoning alternative social network in 2006 and with little time to write a brand new track from scratch vocalist Kazraine went through songwriter Azrael's back catalogue of unused or unfinished pieces and edited the structure of the song together using several sections of "3am In A Technological Hell" by Azrael's over project Siberia. This became the basis for the song with Azrael adapting and adding extra elements to the final composition.
