About Eyes Like Autumn:
Eyes Like Autumn is a track by Vampyrouss recorded for the 2013 EP "Evidence Of Evolution". The music was originally written years before for another project by Paul Butterworth with Kazraine Maars writing the lyrics. The project never continued and so the song was left unfinished until it was transformed into a Vampyrouss song for the 2013 EP.
The original demo idea was a lot more alternative rock based than the 2013 synth driven track, and in 2018 Kazraine merged together those concepts using a mixture of elements from both versions of the song for the definitive Vampyrouss version released as a stand alone single.
The song then appeared along with the whole Vampyrouss back catalogue on the "Barely (A)Live Rehearsal" release in 2021.
