This new and updated definitive recording of Eyes Like Autumn acts as a prelude to the forthcoming 3rd Vampyrouss album (currently in the works) showcasing a more streamlined rock orientated direction.

Eyes Like Autumn Trivia:

This re-recording of "Eyes Like Autumn" was released as a standalone digital single by Vampyrouss.
"Eyes Like Autumn" was written musically by Paul Butterworth who had collaborated with Kaz in the past intending the song to be a new unique project, however the song was not completed. Kaz transformed it into a Vampyrouss song for the "Evidence Of Evolution" EP in 2013 which also featured Paul as a guest vocalist and producer.
The song has a very different sound to that version on the EP, however many of the elements used this time were taken from Kaz & Paul's original rock based demo of the song with a stripped back amount of synth sounds from the 2013 recording remaining to keep the Vampyrouss tone.
The sound of this new definitive version of the song fits with the main catalogue of Vampyrouss' synth rock sound.
The improvised acoustic guitar outro of "Eyes Like Autumn" was taken from Paul's original demo guide guitar and vocal track recorded for Kaz to write the lyrics and used as a guide for the final aforementioned original demo of the song.
