A Gothic Romance Trivia:
The debut release from Vampyrouss.
This was the 2nd attempt at recording a demo by the band. The first attempt was in 2002 after forming. The demo was planned but never recorded but would have also included Darkness Ensues.
The only song on the release written to be a Vampyrouss song was the outro Lustful Finale. The other tracks were written independantly and adapted at a later date with Darkness Ensues being written in 2001 the year before Vampyrouss had formed.
The music for the demo was recorded by Azrael on the Yamaha PSR-350 keyboard ahead of time and played back through the onboard speakers into the computer via a simple swanneck microphone using Windows Sound Recorder.
The instrumental demo was then burnt onto a CD and played through a Playstation 2 via television speakers whilst Kazraine performed his vocals over the top. This was recorded onto a tape deck.
The audio tape of the complete performance was then recorded back onto the computer to create the final product. You can even hear the clunk of the play button being hit on the final tracks.
