There is actually a lot of new stuff in the works in the world of Vampyrouss (and beyond) but specifically a new single is in the process of being completed. I really love how the song has come together, it was written earlier in the year along with the start of a bunch of new music.

I deliberately stopped working on it at that time to get a whole project together and make sure everything would work well as part of a whole unit (album, EP, whatever). It took me many months to realise that stifling my creativity by putting it off to the side to wait whilst the song was already leaps and bounds ahead of the others in terms of completion is just silly and the track would be able to stand by itself perfectly well. Also, who knows? It may well end up working on the next long form project too, if so it will find a home there too!

Therefore it only took me a week or so to finish the song writing the lyrics and adding the extra musical touches... of course lots of elements still need to be re-recorded from the original demo, but it shouldn't take long at all!
